Yesterday was Max's first day back to Preschool, and he was so excited. For a couple of weeks he has been saying goodbye to Grayson in the morning and asking
when can I go to school? Finally it was his day, and when Grayson was about to leave he grabbed his green school bag too. Unfortunately his school didn't start for another hour, and I thought he was going to cry when we told him he had to wait for Mommy to take him.
So he said goodbye to Grayson and Daddy.
Waved bye bye as they drove away. And then waited until it was his turn.
Finally it was and we went to his school.
He was so happy to be there.
He headed straight for the train table, which he had been hearing about from me all week. He was so excited to finally get to play with it.
An hour and 15 minutes later when I came to pick him up (they start the kids out s-l-o-w with shortened days for a while) he did not want to leave. In fact, he would hardly look at me. He wanted to keep playing with the mailboxes. It was a great first day!
