Snow Day!

After much anticipation and excitement, we awoke this morning to snow, icy roads, and cancelled school. With temperatures as low as 17 degress and never making it above freezing, it was c - c - c - cold. But not as cold as for Tony, who was in Minneapolis where it dropped to -15 degrees!

Max was not loving the snow.

Grayson was.

Max - 14 Months

He's walking, he's babbling, he's saying Mama and Dada. He is very, very busy. He understands a lot. When you ask him where his milk is, he'll go find his sippy cup. He'll also take you to the bath, the potty, the trash, his toys, his lovey, and Grayson when prompted. We also just taught him how to give hugs, which he does with enthusiasm. And he is still such an incredibly sweet baby.

Horray for new (to me) technology!

Ahh, I am in technology heaven. With some of our Christmas checks and gift cards we purchased a mini digital video camera (thank you everyone!). It is the same size as my blackberry phone (fits in my pocket) and the best part is that transferring videos to my computer is as easy as transferring photo files. Finally. No more streaming video through a firewire cord (which took forever and only worked half the time). So expect many more videos of my two little sprouts. Here's one from our visit to the park this afternoon in the really cold January weather.

By the way - - if you click the little box with the arrows in the lower right hand corner of the video player, the video will fill up your whole screen.
