Little Slugger

Grayson decided to try out baseball this summer, and he is really enjoying it.  He plays on the "Scarecrows" and Tony helps coach.

He may have missed this one, but the very next swing he whacked it hard and made it to first base.

July 4, 2012

This 4th of July we had such a fun family day with no plans, beautiful warm weather, and our kiddos who love a holiday.  First we headed to the playground.

Three kids swinging at once!

Then hotdogs and burgers at George's (and chicken for me) followed by yummy gelato!

For dinner we had cheese fondue with lots of fruit and veggies (how very American) followed by home grown fireworks.  It was perfect.  As I type this the kids have been asleep for nearly two hours, and the "big" fireworks from the Druid Hills Golf Club are just now going off.

It's 105 degrees outside

A heat wave is passing through Atlanta and we are breaking all the records. At 105 degrees it is unbearable outside. But the kids have to get out their wiggles anyway.
