On our way home from the wedding in Florida we stopped in Cordele, Georgia as we heard that Thomas was there, and there is no bigger Thomas fan than little Max. We kept our stop a surprise for the boys, and they were so excited when we arrived and they figured out what was going on.
Max waited in line to meet Sir Topham Hatt, the train conductor.
At first he was shy, but soon he was so happy to be holding his hand.
Soon Thomas arrived and we ran to see him.
Then it was our turn, and we climbed aboard. Max held on tight to his ticket.
Before we left for our journey, the conductor asked everyone to help Thomas push!
Soon we were on our way.
Our 20 minute ride went over a nearby lake and we waved to the boaters. It was a fun little ride and one we hope Max and Grayson will remember for a long time.
