A few weeks ago Grayson's preschool hosted "Family Day." The kids got to play, jump in bouncy houses, ride ponies, and get their faces painted.
Grayson's preschool ends next week. He has had a great year and has just loved it. Miss Mary and Miss Henrietta are his teachers. He also has music with Mr. Bruce and art with Miss Stephanie once a week. Grayson is very social and has lots of friends in his class. The two kids he talks most about are Brennan (red shirt) (with whom he plays superheroes) and Katie (blond with a tree on her shirt) (with whom he plays puppies and babies (as in he is the baby and she is the mommy)).
A couple of weeks ago we had Max's baby dedication at church. Our church service is getting so big that we often don't fit in our building on special days, so they hold the service outside on the lawn. This was one of those days and it was warm and sunny. We have a female pastor - one of the few Baptist female pastors in the nation - and she is GREAT! (here's an article about her)
Max is fascinated with Grayson. When Grayson is anywhere nearby, Max will stare at him and will follow him with his eyes all around the room. Max especially likes it when Grayson starts making funny faces at him and talks to him.
Just yesterday Max's first two teeth popped through his bottom gums. He's been pretty unhappy, so we knew they were coming.

Mother's Day this year was very sweet. Grayson had the beginnings of an ear infection so I spent much of the day cuddling with him. We did, though, make it to a very nice brunch and Grayson wrote "Mom" on the envelope to my card and then signed his name and Max's name, which I thought was really special.

Yesterday we were looking at a book about Dinosaurs and I told Grayson that "those dinosaurs are meateaters." To which he exclaimed, "but Mommy, meateaters are in SPACE." (Meteors) Above is a picture Grayson drew of his favorite meateater - - the Tyrannesaurus Rex.

This is a very clever picture Grayson drew of himself at the Dentist. You can see the big chair and the Dentist's tools.
And now some videos . . .

I love the pictures in the play area in your cul-de-sac in front of your house! The ones of the two boys together on the floor are also adorable. Thanks for posting!
