Market Day on Lake Como

Wednesday is market day in the town of Lenno, which is about a 10 minute drive up the Lake from Argegno. Grayson and I left early and enjoyed a morning among the locals. At the market you can buy fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese, clothes, hats, pets - everything you can imagine.

Lenno is a lovely town, in a quiet hamlet of the Lake

I bought two of these linens - one for me and one for my Mom - a nice souvenir from the Lake

And Grayson picked out an inflatable Nemo fish

Gelato at 10 am? Sure, why not - we're in Italy

It was such an exciting morning, Grayson fell asleep in the car on the ride back

Uh oh - we can't get up to the villa - they're re-paving the road! So we sat in the car and Tony and my Mom walked down to meet us, and we went shopping at an outlet mall in Switzerland. Afterward, exhausted, we drove back and found that we STILL couldn't get up to our villa. So . . . we went and visited Naboo - - more on that in the next post.
