Happy Birthday Max!

Today Max turned 1!

It's hard to believe that a year has gone by since this little guy was born.

To celebrate, we had a little family party with a homemade cupcake-cake and cupcakes.

Max was a little overwhelmed by the the cupcake-cake.

So we gave him a regular cupcake.

Which made him very happy.

And when he was done he baby-signed "all done." He can also sign "more" and when prompted he will wave "bye bye," point to his nose, and clap. He also will sometimes point to his crib when he is ready to go to sleep.

Grayson made birthday art for Max. The picture on the left is Grayson and Max holding hands watching fireworks. The picture on the right is birthday cakes and a balloon (and hearts drawn by Mima) and completely on his own Grayson sounded out "Happy Birthday" and knew there was a HP and a BD in those words so that's what he wrote (HP BD MAX).

Mima and Pop-pop helped celebrate.
