Grayson adores Ryan. It's the first male teacher he has ever had (other than his Daddy, of course), and he's also a really cool dude.

He Can Swim!
Is this not a great swimming lesson? Grayson's swim teacher, Ryan, puts his sunglasses on the kids when they are practicing their floating.
Grayson also loves to swim, and has just started swimming on his own!
Yep - he doesn't really need that noodle. He can put his head underwater, straighten out his body, and kick and paddle like mad and make it 4 or 5 feet.
What happens next is what we're working on now. He hasn't quite yet gotten the hang of coming up for air and then keeping on going.
But he is fearless, and strong, and he loves that he's almost got it.
Max goes to the pool too. We watch Grayson's lesson and then we all swim together afterward.
Grayson is always the social butterfly. Just today I taught him about "strangers."
It's a perplexing concept for a four-year-old and he is trying to grasp it. "Are strangers like bad guys?" he asked. No, most strangers are nice, we just don't know until we get to know them. And the questions go on and on.
